MLA G T Devegowda bats for CM Siddaramaiah; takes a dig at HDK

Mysuru: The inauguration of Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara- 2024 witnessed the rare camaraderie between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his friend turned foe and Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda on Thursday.
In his presidential address, GTD, the JDS State Core Committee President, batted for Siddaramaiah,who is in the news for wrong reasons, over the 50-50 site scam at MUDA.
He took a dig at his own party, JDS State President and Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H D Kumaraswamy for demanding the resignation of Siddaramaiah, for Lokayukta Police registering a FIR in the case.
Siddaramaiah has returned the sites, the probe is on, said GTD in favour of Siddaramaiah, that caught many in the political circles by surprise.
GTD said, there is no need for Siddaramaiah to resign as Chief Minister, as there are several other legislators facing FIRs in many cases.
Later, in his address CM Siddaramaiah thanked GTD for speaking the truth. He hailed it as- Satya Meva Jayate
