MLC Sandesh Nagaraj stayed at his hotel at cost of public money, says JDS City president Chaluvegowda
1 min readMysuru: JDS leaders in the city on Saturday took potshots at miffed MLC of their own party Sandesh Nagaraj and questioned his contribution in the last 12 years as the member of the upper house of State Legislature.
Sandesh Nagaraj is the JDS MLC for the second consecutive term and his term will expire in January 2022. However all his efforts to contest again either on JDS or BJP ticket didn’t yield any results.
Referring to Sandesh Nagaraj’s call to give first preferential vote to BJP and second vote to Congress in the election to Legislative Council from Mysuru-Chamarajanagar local bodies constituency, JDS City unit President K T Chaluvegowda said “It is not fair on the part of Sandesh Nagaraj and must stop this kind of selfish politics. You must retire from politics and stay away from politics,” demanded Gowda.
Sandesh Nagaraj didn’t open office in the last 12 years as he stayed in his hotel and enjoyed public money, alleged Gowda.
Sandesh Nagaraj is close to former minister and JDS MLA H D Revanna and took benefit from them. It is the only reason to be still in safer side. Party waited for him to change and contribute for the organisation, added Chaluvegowda.
JDS state spokesperson N R Ravichandregowda, Corporator Prema Shankaregowda and former deputy mayor Shylendra were present.
