Mumbai returned Kannadigas released from institutional quarantine

Mandya: Scores of Mumbai returned Kannadigas who were under institutional quarantine completed the period of quarantine on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner Dr M V Venkatesh handed over the release certificates to them on the successful completion of 14-day quarantine at Morarji Desai Model Residential School at Gavimath in K R Pet.

Prior to their release, samples of their throat swabs had been collected and sent for test, the report of which came out negative. In his address, deputy Commissioner advised them to fight Coronavirus with self- confidence and personal hygiene.

He advised them to undergo home quarantine for additional period of 14 days and wear mask and eat only nutritious food.

Tahsildar Shivamurthy, district BCM officer Somashekar, Morarji School Principal Prasanna Kumar, Taluk Health Officer Dr Madhusudhan, District Nodal Officer Dr Bettaswamy and other officers were present.
