Mysuru District Congress Committee announces support to ‘Aikyata Samavesha’ in city on May 4

Mysuru: Mysuru District and City Congress Commmitte has extended all support to ‘Aikyata Samavesha’ (Integrity Convention) called by backward classes in the city on May 4.
Opposition Leader in Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah will be attending the convention.
Acting on the instructions of Siddaramaiah a preliminary meeting was convened by Mysuru District Congress Committee and backward classes wing at Jaladarshini new guest house in the city on Friday.
Presiding over the meet, Mysuru District Rural Congress Committee President Dr B J Vijaykumar said “By extending support to the meet, it is the duty of every Congress worker to keep the morality of the organisation”.
The convention aims at opposing the policies brought out by the State and central BJP governments regarding political reservation and other key issues that are considered to be unconstitutional and threat to the society”.
KPCC backward classes wing President and former MLC M D Lakshminarayan said “the fight against BJP is irrespective of party”.
Mysuru District Congress Committee backward classes wing rural President H K Maruti, city President Shivamallu and office- bearers from backward classes attended the meeting.
