Mysuru: A naming ceremony turned tragic when hydrogen balloons exploded injuring one in the City on Sunday.
A couple had arranged a naming ceremony for their baby at Yashaswi convention hall on Mysuru-Hunsur road. However, a surprise to welcome the couple to the hall turned tragic. Hydrogen balloons were tied on either sides of the walking path and they suddenly exploded when the couple were making entry shocking everyone. While the couple were safe, a person with the photography and videography team sustained severe burn injuries.
These kind of incidents are happening often sparking safety concerns.
