NDA Prez nominee Draupadi Murmu files her nomination

New Delhi: Former Jharkand Governor and BJP leader Draupadi Murmu filed her nomination as BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for the election to President of India, on Friday.
Murmu accompanied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National president J P Nadda and a host of leaders handed over the nomination papers to President of India Ram Nath Kovind.
The 64-year-old Murmu a former minister in Odisha government is facing former finance minister and consensus candidate of the Opposition parties Yashwant Sinha Vice- President of Trinamool Congress (TMC).
