Now, Congress MLC Dharmasena demands probe into Jubilant case

Mysuru: Congress MLC R Dharmasena on Tuesday demanded a detailed investigation against Jubilant Generics Limited Pharmaceutical Company of Nanjangud.
Dharmasena alleged that “state government and its ministers are hiding the truth regarding the root cause of the spread of pandemic from Jubilant generics company”, he said.
We will take up the issue State wide and also raise the issue at Assembly. Our leaders have also demanded a CBI probe. It is the question of safety of the people in our district. So we need a complete clarification from the state government, Dharmasena added.
Mysuru district Congress rural Committee president Dr B J Vijay kumar told that “Jubilant company received 80 percent raw materials and it is a MNC Company. The medicine lobby is behind the spread of virus. The P-52 (the first among Jubilant employees to contract the virus) is yet to come into a public domain, and we suspect that he has been constrained in a place. The owners of the company are very powerful and are exerting pressuring through central government and BJP leaders. If the government disagrees to the investigation, we will fight it, in and outside the Assembly”, Vijay Kumar warned.
Congress city President R Murthy, Nanjangud former MLA Kalale Keshavamurthy were present.
