Olympic medal winning Indian Hockey captain to grace Dasara Sports Meet

Mysuru: Harmanpreet Singh, captain of India’s bronze medal-winning Hockey team at the recent Paris Olympics, will be the chief guest for the inaugural ceremony of Dasara Sports Meet and Dasara CM Cup-2024 on October 3.
The grand sporting events organised as part of Nada Habba Mysuru Dasara festival will begin on October 3 and concludes on October 6.
On the inaugural day, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Harmanpreet Singh will be the chief guests at Chamundivihar Stadium in Nazarbad here.
Dasara Sports is a prestigious State-level event that serves as a launchpad for many emerging athletes and sports persons across Karnataka.
This year’s inauguration of the Sports Meet holds special significance with the participation of an Olympic medallist.
