People should be extra cautious, as it’s the time when the hatchlings emerge from the egg
Mysuru: As many as 20 hatchlings of a cobra marks the birthday celebration of popular snake rescuer snake Shyam on Monday.
In a video message released by Shyam’s son Suryakeerthi (in photo above) also a snake rescuer, the hatchlings have started to come out of the eggs rescued two months ago. They were guarded in a protected environment with with artificial heat to develop the hatchlings.
Suryakeerthi also has a word of caution. Such snake hatchlings develop venom glands at the time of their birth. The bite will be fatal.
Hence the people should be extra cautious, as it’s the time when the hatchlings emerge from the egg.
