Online gambling is rampant in Udaygiri, other areas! Police should act, urges activist Tanveer Pasha

Mysuru: Tanveer Pasha M founder of Mysuru Samruddhi Foundation has alleged that ” online gambling (matka) is going on unabated in various parts of the city.”
According to a press release, Pasha has stated that “a big racket is active in the name of online gambling at Udaygiri, Shantinagar, Ghousianagar, Kalyangiri and surrounding areas.”
Those operating the racket are conning people on the pretext of returns of Rs 700 for Rs 10. Forget winning, more people have been losing their money. Though aware of this illegal activity, police have turned a blind eye, Pasha has alleged further.
Pasha has urged the police commissioner to crack down on such activities before more number of poor people are pushed to street.
