Panic at T Narsipur as Covid infected Chamarajanagar cop had visited town

Mysuru: Panic has gripped the people at T Narsipur town in the district, as a police personnel at Chamarajanagar who has tested positive for Coronavirus had visited the town.
The police personnel had visited his wife working as a nurse at the government general hospital, at the residential quarters on Tuesday.
When the authorities traced his travel history, it was learnt that he had also visited Med Plus ( a chain of medical stores) and two footwear shops in the same town.
According to Taluk Health Officer Dr Ravikumar, “the hospital quarters is sealed down after sanitising the place, while the similar measures will be taken at pharmacy store and footwear shops as a precautionary measure”.
