Part of road collapses on Shiradi Ghat! Vehicles diverted towards Charmadi Ghat

Hassan: Following the impact of heavy rainfall, landslide was witnessed on Shiradi Ghat road near Donigal Maranahalli on Thursday.
A part of NH-75 which connects Bengaluru and Mangaluru passing through Sakaleshpura on Shiradi Ghat caved in near Donigal Maranahalli.
Following this, heavy vehicles were diverted towards alternative route. Those travelling towards Mangaluru, Kukke Subramanya, Dharmasthala and Kottigehara are being diverted towards Mudigere and Belur routes on Charmadi Ghat road.
As a precaution, Hassan district administration has barred the movement of heavy vehicles on Shiradi Ghat road.
