Pro-Kannada activists urge Infosys to adopt century old Government Kannada Schools in Mysuru

Mysuru: Pro- Kannada activists in the city have urged Infosys Mysuru to adopt good old government Kannada Schools in the city and district, especially those who have completed 100 years and restore them.
Kannada Jagruti Samiti member Dr Bherya Ramkumar and Mysuru Mahanagara Palike Kannada Jagruti Samiti member Arvind Sharma arrived at this conclusion as part of the recent birth centenary celebrations of thespian actor Dr Rajkumar.
In their memorandum, the pro-Kannada activists have explained that “there are several such schools which have completed 100 years in the city and district. The cracks have appeared on the walls in several schools, while the grievances related to drinking water supply, toilet, hygiene, computer education remain to be addressed”.
The children’s of the poor, labourers and farm labourers study in those schools. They deserve better educational facilities. So Infosys should adopt and develop those schools.
Acting on the instructions of HR Officer Raghavendra, Manager Raghu Das received the memorandum and promised to forward to authorities concerned.
