Prof M H Dhananjaya passes away

Mysuru: Prof M H Dhananjaya, Advisor (Technical), JSS Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP), passed away at JSS Hospital, MG road in the city, due to age related illness on Monday. He was 91.
Dhananjaya was a Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) from June 10, 1967 and later as its Principal of the college from May 16, 1974 till his retirement later on April 30, 1991.
He later became the Director of Technical Education, JSSMVP and enormously contributed for the growth of technical education at SJCE, which is now a constituent college of JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU).
He served JSSMVP for 52 years in various capacities. He was the Chairman of Excel Soft Technologies Pvt. Ltd and Excel Public School.
He is survived by his son D Sudhanva, Managing Director of Excel Soft Technologies Pvt. Ltd, daughter-in-law and grand children, a large number of relatives and friends.
