Prof Mahesh Chandraguru passes away

Mysuru: Prof B P Mahesh Chandraguru passed away due to cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 67.
According to sources close to the family, Prof Guru suffered cardiac arrest at his house in Vijayanagar at about 7.45 pm. He was admitted at a hospital for one week, till his discharge two days ago.
A retired Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication Department, University of Mysore, Prof Guru had been actively associated with Mahisha Dasara movement in the later years.
He is survived by his wife, and a large number of students and followers.
