PSI CET scam! After 18 days of intense search, BJP leader Divya Hagaragi arrested in Pune

Kalaburagi: After 18 days of intense search, CID team has finally succeeded in arresting the prime accused in the case BJP leader Divya Hagaragi at Pune in neighbouring Maharashtra.
Divya is the prime accused in PSI CET scam that has rocked the State. She is the President of Jnana Jyoti English Medium School at Gokul Nagar in the city, where the malpractices took place during the CET for 545 PSI posts were conducted across the State on October 3, 2021.
The CID team led by SP Raghavendra Hegde that was searching for Divya Hagaragi since Thursday succeeded in tracing their hideout in the night.
Along with Divya, CID has arrested four others including two woman staffers of her school and two others who had given shelter to her in Pune.
The arrested are expected to be brought to Kalaburagi anytime soon.
The CID that has been investigating into the case has so far arrested several people including Divya’s husband, two Congress leaders, policemen and several others in relation to the scam.
