Puneeth Rajkumar’s demise! Family physician Dr Ramanrao recalls last moments

Bengaluru: Dr Ramanrao, the family physician of Rajkumar’s recalled the last moments of actor Puneeth Rajkumar on Saturday.
Speaking to a vernacular TV channel, Ramanrao recalled that “Puneeth came to my clinic along with his wife Ashwini at around 11.15 am on Friday. According to Puneeth, he worked out in the gymnasium as usual, did boxing and also took steam. But was sweating more than usual.”
Still, the ECG was recommended and according to the results, BP and other parameters were found normal. But, there was stress. Not willing to take a chance he was recommended to be hospitalised. As Ashwini went out to make calls, Puneeth informed that he also had giddiness, said Ramanrao.
“I advised him to sleep inside the car while being rushed to hospital. Despite traffic, they reached Vikram Hospital within a few minutes,” said Ramanrao.
Ramanrao described it as a cause of sudden death (cardiac arrest), where the chances of survival are bleak.
