Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary open for tourists! Follow compulsory Covid safety rules

Mysuru: South India’s popular bird sanctuary Ranganathittu in Srirangapatna taluk in Mandya is open for nature lovers.
Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary was closed to tourists as per the government’s mandate to prevent the covid second wave. Tourists are allowed access to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary as per the government order from July 6, according to DCF Dr K C Prashanth Kumar.
The boats are often sanitised for trips, followed by life jackets, boat station, park, path way, paragola, information center and toilet.
Staffs are advised to use handwash, sanitiser and mask to maintain personal hygiene and have minimal conversations with tourists and maintain social distance.
Visitors to the bird Sanctuary are requested to follow the Covid saftey measures.
Only those who have no symptoms of fever, cough, cold, cold etc., are admitted.
Body temperature testing is mandatory for tourists at the entrance and those having temperature above normal are not allowed.
Visitors must wear a mask.
Tourists must maintain a minimum social distance of six feet when buying ticket and boarding the boat.
Tourists should maintain minimal communication and social interaction with staff.
Barricades installed in the bird sanctuary should not be touched.
Tourists must follow the paths specified in the Bird Sanctuary.
Tourists should not eat pan masala, gutka and spit wherever they are and maintain cleanliness.
