Revision in property tax: MCC sets up helpline to address queries

Mysuru: Following several queries over paying revised propery tax online, Mysuru City Corporation ( MCC) has set up a helpline to redress the grievances.
According to a press release from MCC commissioner, it is stated that ” the queries can be either mailed along with a screenshot to dedicated mail ID- mccrrevenuehelpdesk@gmail.com or contact the helpline during office hours from 10 am to 5.30 pm either on WhatsApp or phone- Nagalakshmi- 9980753325.
The release further stated that, as per government’s order, some revision in tax slabs have been incorporated in property tax for the year 2021-22. The changes have been added in the software. However some property holders are raising some doubts and petitioning the corporation with queries seeking clarity.
