Sandalwood film Director V R Bhaskar passes away in Mysuru

Mysuru: V R Bhaskar (65), who had worked in several films as Director, assistant director and dialogue writer in Sandalwood, breathed his last at JSS Hospital in the city.
Bhaskar was known for his significant contributions to Sandalwood, particularly in dialogue writing for Vishnuvardhan’s movies.
Bhaskar was admitted to JSS Hospital in the city a few days ago, where he passed away on Thursday.
Some of his notable works as Assistant Director and dialogue writer include- Rudra Naga, Karthavya, Nanna Shatru, Police Mattu Dada, Rudraveene, Dada, Aradhane, Karulina Kudi, Kadamba, Suprabhatha, Lion Jagapathi Rao, Hrudayavantha, Apthamithra, Aptha Rakshaka, Godfather and Dr. Krishna.
Unfortunately, Bhaskar had endured significant personal losses, with the passing away of his wife and son six months ago and another son a decade ago.
Bhaskar’s aged mother will conduct his final rites at Harishchandra Ghat, near the foot of Chamundi hill.
