Bengaluru: Sandalwood superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday. He was 46.
According to the reports emerging from Vikram Hospital, the actor died of cardiac arrest.
He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition with the actor suffering cardiac arrest. He had breathed his last when he was rushed to the hospital at 11.30 am.
As per his wish, eyes were donated for the cause of visually challenged persons.
Learning about the news, actors Darshan Thoogudeepa, Ganesh, Dhruva Sarja, Srimurli, Shruti, Tara, film producers Rockline Venkatesh, director C Naganna and several others rushed to the hospital.
Now, all are rushing towards the actors house in Sadashivanagar.
As a precautionary measure, arrangements are being made at Kanteerava Stadium to keep the mortal remains of the actor to enable his fans and followers to pay their last respects.
The mortal remains are expected to be taken to stadium at around 5 pm.
Before that, the remains will be kept at the actor’s Sadashivanagar bungalow.
