SDMIMD and Rotary Club of Mysore Southeast hold blood donation drive to mark I-Day

Mysuru: The SDM Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD) and the Rotary Club of Mysore Southeast organised a mega blood donation drive to mark 77th Independence Day. The blood donation camp was held at the serene SDMIMD Yoga and Wellness Centre, located within the picturesque SDMIMD Campus, Mysore, recently.

The blood donation drive was seamlessly coordinated by the collaborative efforts of SDMIMD’s Library Initiative for Education (LIFE) Team and the Alumni Network Team of SDMIMD (ANTS). Dr S.N. Prasad, Director of SDMIMD, and Rtn. K.A. Govardhan Yadav, Club Service Director of Rotary Southeast, jointly inaugurated the event, marking the commencement of this noble initiative.

The event’s inauguration was graced by Dr. Sunil M.V., Faculty Coordinator of LIFE and ANTS, and the Faculty Members, Dr Anand Sasikumar, Dr S. Kannadas S and Prof. C.V. Sridhar, Faculty and Manager – Administration, SDMIMD.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various quarters, including the dedicated members of the Jeevan Dhara Blood Bank and Rotaract Club members. The spirited involvement of the SDMIMD students further underscored the drive’s success.

As the nation commemorates its 77th year of independence, the ‘Mega Blood Donation Drive’ exemplifies the enduring spirit of service and commitment that SDMIMD and the Rotary Club of Mysore Southeast embody. This collaborative initiative serves as a testament to the power of collective action in effecting positive change within the local community.
