Seven at Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, 13 students at Channarayapatna contract Covid-19

Mysuru: Six students and a house surgeon at Chamarajanagar Institute of Medical Sciences ( CIMS), Chamarajanagar and 13 students of Morarji Desai Model Residential School, Channarayapatna, Hassan have tested positive for Covid-19.
According to DHO of Chamarajanagar Dr K M Visvesvaraya ” those who have contracted the virus are hostel inmates and are being treated at a hospital. There are 650 inmates and all will be tested. Meanwhile the hostel is declared a containment zone.”
While at Morarji Desai School, of the total 200 students tested, 13 were found positive. The students are admitted at a Covid Care Centre and sanitisation measures were take up before sealing the school.
