Spike in Covid cases! Bengaluru urban a cause of worry again

Bengaluru: With the increase in Covid-19 cases day by day, Bengaluru urban is back in focus.
For the first time after a gap of one month, Karnataka added 154 new cases including 142 in Bengaluru urban alone on Thursday. The total cases stood at 39,47,363 with the day’s positivity rate at 1.49 per cent. However there were zero deaths, but the total death toll is 40,057.
On Wednesday too, of the total 126 cases reported in the State, 114 was in Bengaluru urban.
On Tuesday too, Bengaluru urban accounted for 82 cases against the total 85 new cases in the State.
On Monday too, Bengaluru urban saw 63 new cases against total 64 reported in the State.
