SSLC exams from tomorrow! Only 22 students from containment zones, separate rooms arranged for them
1 min readMysuru: Amidst the fear of Covid-19, the district administration is all set to conduct SSLC examinations for the students of class X from Thursday.
DDPI Panduranga told media persons ” A total of 39,822 students have registered for the exams at 139 centres in the district. Among them 22 students are from containment zones and separate arrangements have been made for them to write the exams. They should compulsory wear the mask, hand sanitise and undergo thermal scanning before writing the exams”.
To ensure that the students should not face any issue in transit, 54 KSRTC buses have been arranged to ferry 1468 students from their respective places to exam centres and drop them back. That apart, a two- wheeler will be stationed at every exam centres for any emergency.
The DDPI clarified that “no students from outside the State are appearing for the exams in Mysuru, while 851 students from the district will be writing their exams in other districts. Similarly, 338 students from other districts will be writing their exams here”.
Only 18 to 20 students will be allowed to write the exams in each rooms, DDPI said.
Most importantly, no centres are set up at containment zones and no SSLC students are under quarantine, he added.
