SSLC exams! Mother, son sail through in Sakleshpur village

Hassan: Unlike others, it’s a double bonanza for a family here in SSLC exams.
A woman and her son have together sailed through in the exams the results of which were announced on Monday.
C N Theertha and her son B R Hemanth of Lakshmipura village in Sakleshpur taluk passed the exams.
Theertha managed to get 235, while her son excelled with 562 against 625.
Theertha had taken the exams in private student at Ranganatha High School in Ballupet. Hemanth is a student of Sri Malleshwara High School, Valalahalli.
Theertha who had discontinued her studies after classs eight had a strong desire to complete SSLC. As her son was also in class 10, Theertha found it apt and started studying with her son during free time.
Hemanth was also obliging and helped his mother in preparing for the exams. Moreover, the Covid situation also came in handy.
Elated Theertha said “I had written well in whichever subjects I was good at. Moreover, as the government was liberal due to Covid crises, all the students have passed. I am also a beneficiary.”
