Star of Mysore completes 46 years; Editor felicitated
1 min readMysuru: Mysuru District Journalists’ Association felicitated Star of Mysore Chief Editor KB Ganapathy for spearheading the paper with an uncompromising commitment for 46 years. Star of Mysore, Mysore’s popular English Evening paper completed its 46 years.
Speaking on the occasion, on Monday, Star of Mysore and Mysuru Mithra Chief Editor KB Ganapathy observed that journalists face several challenges while doing their duty with utmost integrity. But if they have the moral backing of their association, they could work with unchallenged committment and honesty. “The Mysuru District Journalists’ Association is doing excellent in this regard,” said Ganapathy.
He observed that the Mysuru Press Club needs a well-equipped building and the association need to work in this regard. “When the association was facing tough days, then Andolana Editor Rajashekhara Koti and I strived to strengthen the association. Today, I am happy with its growth. I am happy to be honoured by the association,” said Ganapathy and wished the association to be more proactive.
On the occasion, KB Ganapathy’s son Vikram Muthanna, who is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Star of Mysore and News Editor Meera Appaiah were also felicitated at Mysuru Mithra office.
