Mysuru: Sunpure Oil’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team have distributed 12,000 grocery kits to needy people in different parts of the state.
The representatives of Sunpure and Masoom Trust distributed 200 grocery kits to autorickshaw drivers and labourers, near DC’s office in the city recently.
CSR arm of home grown Sunpure has been helping people in need throughout the year by paying their school fees, distributing stationery and medicines.
CSR Manager Ashwaque Ahmad told that “after lockdown was enforced many people are suffering without any daily needs. Considering the plight, our management decided to help people in Mysuru and Srirangapatna, Pandavapura in Mandya districts with groceries”, he said.
Assistant commissioner N C Venkataraju and Sunpure company’s staff and Lakshmipuram Police Sub-Inspector M S Bhandi were present.
