Tableau on Basavanna by Info Department wins first prize in Jamboo Savari

Mysuru: The tableau of Department of Information and Public Relations won first prize in the contest organised on Jamboo Savari, taken out on Vijayadashami as part of Mysuru Dasara on Saturday.
The Department of Information and Public Relations had designed a tableau on historical Belagavi Congress Conference that is celebrating its centenary year and Cultural Leader Basavanna. The tableau was adjudged for the first prize among the tableaux of Government Departments.
The design of the tableau was conceptualised by the Commissioner of Department of Information and Public Relations Hemanth Nibalkar and Joint Director G B Siddeshwarappa lent his efforts.
Shashidhar Adapa of Prathiroopi Art Troupe designed the tableau.
