Toll collection on Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway put off until March 14
1 min readMysuru: Following public uproar over toll collection on the yet-to-be-inaugurated Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway, the National Highways Authority of India has deferred the toll collection until March 14.
The NHAI had begun to collect fee from vehicles plying on the ten-lane from February 28 on Kanaminake and Sheshagirihalli toll booths. But, the public had opposed the toll collection even before the Expressway was inaugurated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to inaugurate the Expressway on March 11. The NHAI officials have now deferred the toll collection to March 14.
Meanwhile, the NHAI officials are expected to revise the toll fee.
