Tusker found dead with bullet injuries in Hassan

Hassan: A wild tusker was allegedly found shot dead at Gurgihalli in Belur taluk on Friday.
A herd of wild elephants was spotted around Gurgihalli and Arehalli villages in Belur taluk destroying crops.
According to the villagers, the carcass of an elephant was found at an agricultural land belonging to Syed Sattar. The elephant had suffered bullet wounds.
Arehalli police and forest officials visited the spot.
