TV journalist Gajanan Hegde passes away

Bengaluru: Senior journalist Gajanan Hegde passed away on February 25. He was 39 and was ailing from sometime.
He had been undergoing treatment at KIMS where he breathed his last.
A native of Dharwad, he was an alumnus of JSS Mahavidyapeeth in twin cities.
Hegde was a prominent face in vernacular news channels, where he had made a name as a news reader.
Beginning from ETv, he had worked in Zee, Kasturi and Praja TV.
Upon hearing the news of his death, most of his contemporaries, friends and well wishers in and outside media have expressed their condolences.
