Union Finance Minister appreciates ‘Path Shala-Jeevan Yatra’ book by Mysuru students

Mysuru:  Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has commended and congratulated the students of Purna Chetana School, Mysuru for their efforts in writing, editing and publishing the book titled “Path Shala-Jeevan Yatra”, which reflects their genuine life experiences, aspirations and reflections.

The school’s Chief Executive Officer B Darshan Raj and the school’s Chief Administrator Madhurya Ramaswamy recently met the Minister at her New Delhi office and dedicated the book to her.  
 
During this meeting, the Minister expressed her admiration for the children’s initiative and creativity.

This book comprises a compilation of 189 articles authored by 104 students from grades I to X at the school, reflecting their life experiences, journeys, creative thoughts, and the significant incidents and individuals that have impacted them. It encapsulates the warmth of familial bonds, the captivating variety of life, the wisdom shared by grandparents and the foundational teachings of parents as our primary educators.
 
Additionally, it explores the true essence of friendship, the realm of science, the admiration for one’s father as a hero, the critical value of education, the life lessons acquired in school, the distinctive experiences beyond academic texts, aspirations for an ideal home, the selfless contributions of mothers, insights gained from sports clubs, lessons derived from nature, the influence of school on personal development, and the guiding principles imparted by teachers, among other themes.
 
Another uniqueness of this book is that it has also received a prestigious ISBN number. This is another testament to the quality of this book. This is the first  children’s publication to receive an ISBN number from the city.

Chief Executive Officer B Darshan Raj expressed that the recognition from the Union Finance Minister serves as the greatest reward for the students of our institution.
 
He stated, “This acknowledgment also elevates the responsibilities of the school. In the future, the school will focus on fostering support and opportunities to enhance the creativity and engagement of the children.
 
We are committed to enhancing the Bharatiya education system through the development of this school.
 
“We consider it our responsibility,” he stated.
 
The Chief Administrator of the school, Madhurya Ramaswamy, stated that Purna Chetana School is dedicated to the comprehensive development of its students. The institution is focused on establishing a strong foundation for their intellectual growth. “This is our small contribution to the advancement of our nation,” she remarked.
