Unlock Mysuru! Chamundi temple, Mysuru Palace reopen, business activities resume

Mysuru: After a gap of two months, the Cultural Capital Mysuru is returning back to normal from Monday.
The tourist spots and business establishments have reopened as the state government announced unlock measures.
Following the decline in Covid cases in second wave, lockdown is lifted across the state after test positivity rate come down to less than two per cent.
Top tourist destinations like Mysuru Palace, Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Karanji Lake, Public libraries and Temples including Sri Chamundeshwari Temple at Chamundi Hill, Srikanteshwara Swamy Temple at Nanjangud and many more temples are reopened and the devotees are allowed only for darshan at the shrines.
Wearing mask, thermal scanning and maintenance of social distance are made mandatory at all the tourist spots and religious centres.
Economic activities in the city and district have also got complete relaxation. Textile and home appliance shops and malls are also opened. Gyms are also allowing customers with Covid safety measures.
Transportation is also back to normal as KSRTC resumed bus service to various routes in both urban and rural areas.
