User Awareness Program on IEEE and Springer Nature held at ATMECE

ATME College of Engineering Library and Information Centre in association with research, publication and co-curricular activities committee organised an “User Awareness Program on the usage of IEEE and Springer Nature”.
Resource persons for the event were M S Srinivasa Senior Customer Training Specialist IEEE and EBSCO Information services India and Rajaneesh Licensing Manager, Institutional Sales, South India and Srilanka.
The program aimed at providing awareness on the effective usage of IEEE and Springer Nature resources.
M S Srinivasa briefed about the features which are available on the IEEE webpage of the Institutional subscription under VTU Consortium.
He also demonstrated the usage of these various filters and how they can be used for refining search and fetching more relevant data from the repository.
Rajaneesh spoke about Open Access Journals and E-Books under Springer Nature. He highlighted how to find appropriate Journals for various domains. He also demonstrated new features such as SharedIt, transfer desk and available on the Springer web page.
The event was convened by Dr Bhagyashree S R Dean Research and coordinated by Nandeesh H G Assistant Librarian, Dr Md Nadeem Assistant Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering and Nasreen Fathima Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
