Veteran actor R T Rama selected for ‘Natana Award 2022’

Mysuru: Veteran actor R T Rama has been selected for ‘Natana Award 2022’.
A native of Davangere, Rama is a graduate of National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. Rama has also worked as the head of drama division at Bangalore University.
She also teaches at Tent Cinema, a film related training camp of film director Nagatihalli Chandrashekar.
Rama started acting at the age of nine at Gokak professional theatre company. Since then she has acted in several plays and films, besides TV serials.
Natana Award
The award is instituted by Natana School of Theatre Arts, Mysuru, founded by actor Mandya Ramesh, in memory of his father N Subramanyam who was the president of Natana.
The award carries cash award, citation and memento.
It will be presented during the valedictory of 20th year of summer camp Raja Maja at Rama Govinda Rangamandira on Sunday at 5.30 pm.
The past recipients of the award are- Lakshmibai Enagi Balappa, theatre actor M N Lakshmidevi, Subhadramma Mansoor and Gubbi Company artiste Shanthamma.
