Waste management! Christ faculty win prize for their smart idea
1 min readMysuru: The faculty of Christ College in the city Angela Teresa Kalloli, faculty of English, Rani Susan Varughese, faculty of Psychology and Glint John M S, faculty of English won second prize in ‘Ideathon on social innovation’ competition recently. They were awarded certificates and cash prize of Rs 6,000.
They competed with a total of 15 teams from various colleges around the city. Their theme was smart waste management and presented Mysore Junction as a prototype for a smart and sustainable Mysore.
Young Indians Mysore in association with CII IIIP Panel, Mysuru had organised the competition for professors at SJCE campus recently.
The Ideathon focused on product and process innovation to improve Mysuru city with regard to urban planning, pollution control, sanitation, Swachh city etc.,
