Who is this? Stranger on Dasara Official Invitation card sparks row
1 min readMysuru: Dasara, the world-famous ten-day festival that attracts tourists from around the globe, recently saw the release of its official invitation by the District Administration Dasara Organising Committee.
The invitation provides comprehensive information about the inauguration of various Dasara events, including the grand procession and the torchlight parade. It also lists the names of distinguished guests, such as senior scholar Dr Hampa Nagarajaiah, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar.
Each year, the district administration commissions a renowned artist to design the invitation. This year, the artist incorporated an image of Mysore Palace and Jayamarthanda gate, featuring the silhouette of the iconic elephant, Arjuna.
However, a mysterious element has caught the attention of many in Mysuru.
On page 22 of the invitation, an image of Mysore Palace appears to show an stranger standing in front of the palace, sparking curiosity and speculation among locals.
The blunder is surely a point of debate, with Dasara round the corner.
