Will Siddaramaiah ditch Kolar for Varuna?
1 min readMysuru: Ever since former chief minister Siddaramaiah announced that he would be contesting from Kolar for the upcoming Assembly elections, his followers are not happy one bit. His followers from Badami constituency – from where he contested last – have been pressurising him to contest again from Badami. Even those from Varuna constituency, which is his stronghold, are also forcing the senior Congress leader to reconsider his decision to contest from Kolar.
His followers, especially from Mysuru region, are leaving no stone unturned to coax the senior Congress leader to contest from Varuna, as this will benefit the party in both Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts. They also feel that the there are more supporters for Congress in these two districts and his contest from Varuna will only prove advantageous to the party. Rumours are rife that Siddaramaiah may surprise everyone in the last moment.
