Yediyurappa hasn’t called after I lost election in Varuna: V Somanna
1 min readBengaluru: Former Minister V Somanna who recently lost the high voltage election in Varuna Assembly constituency in Mysuru said ‘former Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa hasn’t called me after I lost the election.’
Somanna had contested the election as BJP candidate opposite former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, but the latter won by a huge margin of over 30,000 votes.
“During election, Yediyurappa was calling me daily and receiving updates over phone. But hasn’t called me even once after I lost the election in Varuna,” said Somanna in a cryptic tone.
The internal sabotages are common in politics, said Somanna who had also contested from Chamarajanagar constituency, but lost against sitting MLA C Puttaranga Shetty there too.
“Govindarajanagar was like my eyes, ears and heart,” said Somanna who had represented the constituency in Bengaluru, in the previous Assembly.
